Privacy policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

ScaleHouse operates scalehouse.store. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us. The site and checkout are hosted by Shopify.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us, including your name and email address.
  • Order and billing details processed by Shopify checkout. ScaleHouse does not collect or store your full card number.
  • Project application answers, including your brand, package, and store URL.
  • Files you choose to upload, such as logos and product photos. Uploads are optional. They are stored privately for the build and are not placed on the public order.
  • The .myshopify.com URL and 4-digit collaborator code you send so we can request access. We do not ask for, and you should never send, your Shopify password.
  • Messages you send us.
  • Device and usage information such as browser, IP address, and how you use the site, collected through Shopify and the measurement tools connected to the store.

How we use it

  • To take your order, do the build, and contact you about that project.
  • To process payment through Shopify.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
  • To measure and improve the site, including advertising. The Facebook and Instagram channel connected to this Shopify store can use site and purchase events for ads. You can control ad preferences through your own Meta and browser settings.
  • To meet legal requirements.

How we share it

We share information with Shopify, which hosts the store, checkout, and payments, and with providers who process files, email, or analytics for us. We share it when you ask us to, when the law requires it, or to protect the store and our customers. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep project and order information for as long as we need it to finish the build, keep a record of the order, and meet legal requirements. Uploaded files are kept for the project and are not published as public links.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain advertising uses. Email cole815306@icloud.com to make a request. We may need to confirm it is you before we act on it.

Shopify also processes information about your use of the store. Shopify's own privacy policy describes that processing.

Children

The site is not for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do, and the new version will be posted on this page.
