Terms of service

These terms cover the custom Shopify store builds sold on scalehouse.store. By placing an order, you agree to them.

The service

ScaleHouse designs and builds a Shopify storefront for the package you buy: Launch ($499), Scale ($999), or Pro ($1,499). The price and what is included are the package details on this website at the time you check out. You pay the full package price on Shopify checkout before the build starts. There is no monthly ScaleHouse retainer.

Launch includes a custom Shopify storefront, custom homepage, custom product-page design, mobile optimization, brand styling, conversion-focused sections, standard supporting pages, basic Shopify setup, up to 5 products set up, and 1 revision round.

Scale includes everything in Launch, plus up to 15 products set up, 1 custom campaign or landing page, branded email capture setup, additional storefront sections, enhanced app integrations, and 2 revision rounds.

Pro includes everything in Scale, plus up to 30 products set up, 2 custom campaign or landing pages, advanced storefront sections, email capture and a basic welcome-email setup, additional integrations, 3 revision rounds, and priority build queue.

Not included

Your Shopify subscription, domain, paid apps, and other third-party services are not included unless the package says they are. Those are billed by Shopify or the other provider. Checkout branding and checkout features depend on your Shopify plan and are not part of Launch, Scale, or Pro unless we agree to that separately.

Your store and access

You need a Shopify store. If you are starting from scratch, basic Shopify setup is part of the build. ScaleHouse works through Shopify collaborator access. You send your permanent .myshopify.com store URL and the 4-digit collaborator code from your own admin under Settings, then Users, then Security. Never send a Shopify password.

You approve the collaborator request in your own admin. You can remove that access at any time. Removing it before the build is finished can stop the work.

ScaleHouse builds the new storefront as an unpublished theme. Your current live theme stays up until you approve the launch.

What you send us

You are responsible for the accuracy of your product details and for having the rights to the logos, photos, copy, and other files you send. Uploaded files are stored privately with your project reference and are used for the build. They are not published as public files on the order.

You are responsible for the claims, offers, and legal compliance of the store you sell from, including product descriptions and advertising.

Revisions and extra work

A revision round is one set of change requests on the preview, inside the package you bought. Launch includes 1 round, Scale includes 2, and Pro includes 3. Work outside that scope is quoted separately.

Timeline

Timing depends on the size of the store and how quickly we receive your content and store access. We confirm the timeline before work begins.

Shopify

ScaleHouse is an independent design studio and is not affiliated with Shopify Inc. Shopify remains the host of your store and of checkout. Card details stay on Shopify.
